My name is David
I'm the founder of Humboldt Plant Co. and a licensed cultivator in Humboldt County, California.
For more than 15 years, I've dedicated my life to growing cannabis and vegetables professionally. Every season has taught me something new because when your livelihood depends on healthy plants, you don't have the luxury of guessing.
I've battled spider mites, aphids, thrips, fungus gnats, whiteflies, powdery mildew, botrytis, and just about every challenge that comes with farming in one of the most demanding growing environments in the world.
Over those years, I relied on nearly every plant wash I could get my hands on.
Some worked.
Some didn't.
Some left unwanted oily residue.
Some didn't perform consistently.
Some were simply too expensive to justify using as often as I wanted.
Every season, I found myself thinking the same thing.
There Has To Be A Better Way.
There has to be a better way.
I didn't set out to create another plant wash.
I set out to create the one I wished I'd had for the last 15 years.
Eventually, I realized nobody was going to create the product I wanted.
So I did.
Not in a laboratory.
Not in a corporate office.
But in the gardens where I work every single day.
Every ingredient in TSUNAMI™ earned its place because it solved a problem I had personally experienced in the field.
Every adjustment came from real gardens, real crops, and years of hands-on cultivation—not theory.
Living and growing in Humboldt County teaches you to respect nature.
It teaches you patience.
It teaches you consistency.
It teaches you that every decision matters because every season is different, and every harvest depends on the choices you make along the way.
